Gli Animal Collective hanno annunciato i dettagli relativamente al loro “psychedelic” art show, che sarà presentato al New York’s Guggenheim Museum.
Verrò tenuto il 4 Marzo per celebrare l’anniversario dei 50′anni del museo: Transverse Temporal Gyrus è una collaborazione tra la band e Danny Perez.

“As New Yorkers, we are all familiar with the everyday noise around us,” the band said in a statement. “We wanted to create an environment where people could take some time to listen to other kinds of sounds and get away from those familiar sounds of the city.”

Inviting people to “take some time out and sit with us”, the group explained that they will turn the museum into a “mysterious hideaway” with music, projections, costumes and props.
